Syncussion Drums by Wave Alchemy captures the Pearl Syncussion’s unique sonic character by offering no less than 1885 carefully recorded 24-bit drum samples.

We worked extremely hard to capture the raw sound of the Syncussion SY-1 by recording both a huge selection of dry/unprocessed drum hits as well as a variety of round robin samples and velocity variations.

On top of this we recorded a wealth of sounds directly through our boutique selection of analogue outboard processors and high-end pre-amps.

Additionally, a number of sounds were re-sampled through our EMU SP-12 Turbo to obtain a more lo-fi and gritty sound.

Last but by no means least we visited the world of analogue tape (a Wave Alchemy first) by recording over 800 drum hits to 1/4" tape via a Studer A80 Mk1 tape machine!

• 104 additional layered snare drum and hi hat samples. Snares and hats are not the Syncussion's strongest point so we decided to include a huge bonus collection of punchy snares and silky hats which make use our full gear list!

Inspiration comes from the DJ`s and Clubs round the world dedicated to the finest in soulful and funky house grooves. Artists such as Masters At Work, Copyright, Jamie Lewis, Joey Negro, Micheal Watford, Kerri Chandler, Mr V and Miguel.

Legendary labels such as King Street, NRK, Naked, Wave, Refunkt, Soufuric and SUSU to name a few have provided the musical back drop against which this pack positions its style and feel. In a deliberate attempt to move away from the many plethora of disco orientated sample products on the markret, this sample pack does things cooler and more sophisticatedly than any house sample pack yet released.

The beats encapsulate the more laid back soulful house grooves, more jackin styles, and also live and latino spirited grooves. Featuring hundreds of fat and fresh soulful house drum and percussion loops, funky guitars, soft and expressive keys, live trumpet, inspirational male and female vocals, funky filtered live and synth basslines, pads, fx and much more!

The package includes Acidised Wav andRex2 samples, and patches for Reasons NNXT, Halion, Kontakt, and EXS-24 samplers. The pack is Mac and PC compatible and will work with nearly all music software packages.
